Welcome to the Digital Wellness Studio, I’m so glad you are here! I’m Isabella, the creator of The Digital Wellness Studio (TDWS)

While brainstorming ideas for my first post on the Digital Wellness Studio, I struggled to figure out exactly what I wanted to write about. I wanted something exciting to kick off this project of mine, so I decided to make a welcome post and tell you a little more about my vision for this blog.

In a busy day-to-day life, it can be so difficult to chase your goals, stay motivated, and remain on top of all of your commitments and responsibilities. Although I haven’t perfected it myself, I am on a journey to creating a more balanced lifestyle, while also being productive and getting things done. However, it is also important to acknowledge that the journey is just as important. In fact, I believe that the most rewarding part of achieving your goals is remembering how much time and effort you put in to achieve them.

I got the name The Digital Wellness studio a little while ago when I was cleaning my room on a Sunday, while listening to my favourite podcast “Anything Goes” by influencer Emma Chamberlain. I find that my best ideas come to me when I am feeling inspired, and a spring afternoon and a clean space always help to clear my head. Dance always consumes my thoughts, and though I am not continuing with it this season, I still think about it a lot. Since I still feel very connected to dance, I thought that it would be fun to incorporate “studio” into the name as a personal tribute to close the chapter. After that, the rest of the name just kind of came together in my mind, and I am very happy with it.

On the TDWS, you can expect to see informative posts and advice columns like:

  • How sleep is impacting your mental health,
  • How to cleanse your feed,
  • Study tips
  • How to reduce your screen time
  • How to manage stress during exam season
  • How to limit your distractions at school and work
  • How to stop comparing yourself to social media.

Prepare to read many of my own experiences and stories as well. Please let me know in the comments if my tips help you in any way, or if you’d like to see me write on any particular topics. Also feel free to give me any ideas on what you would like to see next.
